Just replaced my front tt auto gears, and of course didnt upgrade to mod1, therefore on inverted punchout it stripped. I had just spent most of yesterday installing the gov and getting 5.2 setup. Bummer

Anyhow, got it high enough to flip it but the resulting auto was rough. The frames, landing gear and bottom plate appeared to take all the damage and shatter with no other damage.

What are the best choice of frames for the 700e? I like the chp dl set, and am leaning that way. Any opinions?

Anyone have a set for me?

Did the frames break at the bottom at the front along with the bottom plate?

Mine did and I think if the bottom plate hadn't of gone the side frame might have survived. I might get one of these to strengthen the bottom plate:

They broke there and about an inch up I multiple spots. I think a stronger frame is in order.

Ok, gotcha.

Those are my 2 choices unless I come up with some cheap stockers.

Looking at both, I do appreciate loading the batteries from the back. Bummer, out of stock on the res frames.

CHP frames by FAR are more robust over stock, seen a few HARD crashes where the CHP literally untouched, stock is fairly light in comparison for sure.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Exactly...I also like the fact that he uses pem nuts as well as most of the frame pieces also have lock tabs

How about cutting the battery rails out of a second set of stock frames and epoxying them together?
