Is that counter gear machined delrin or is it the same molded plastic gear as the ENV?

It's the same ND-YR7-AS1129 130 Tooth Helical Delrin Main Gear used in the Env.

Yup!!
Bls255 hv on swash and Bls256 hv on the tail. Both my Env's have them and there awesome! I only use about 300 mah per 7 min flight on the nitro.

the Helical gear in the ballistic is not the same as the old helical gear. the gear in the ballistic is molded where as the old gear was machined Delrin. the gear in the ballistic should be MUCH cheaper

For the price of this kit, I think it should come with machined main gear and metal bearing blocks. Mine should be here next week.

Do the helical bevel gears run as smooth as they look?

I am totally going to have to convert my ENV over to a ballistic now...

Hey Lou, you should throw a OS91/MP7 on the ENV and buy a Ballistic. Best of both worlds. LOL
