The Whiplash gasser will be out in like a month. You can wait that long. MA has been making gassers forever and they're like the Lincoln Towne Cars of the sky. (Bergen are the Cadillacs of the sky)

A T-Rex (converted or not) is still a T-Rex. It's named after a dinosaur. They couldn't even name it after a flying dinosaur like Pterodactyl. Instead, they named it after a big doofy dinosaur with arms so short it can't wipe its own ass.

the conversions are both well done and generally work well. There are positives and negatives to each of the two versions.

Why don't you get a 600 conversion now and then get the Whiplash G when its available? Depending on which conversion you get you could use the same motor in both or if you already have a PUH motor you'd wind up with both versions.

Since the Whip Gas is coming out soon are the remaining Spectra kits at a lower price? Are Spectra kits not going to be produced anymore??

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

I'm not aware of it being discontinued imminently

it is still their solution for the PUH motor version

It would have been nice if Min Air put the G out before Christmas. I'm ready to buy one of these. I've got the motor, servos, gyro etc. Just need the G.

Still waiting for the Nitro release!

I talked to guys that are still waiting for the Nitro release. So to me it seems the Gasser version will be out even further.
I love my HWC conversion. Strong and reasonably priced Trex parts readily available for crash rebuilding. A clutch system included that works great.
I want a Whiplash G too but I don't believe they will be readily available for several months (or longer).

Ok, one can be a Bentley and the other a Jaguar XJ. (But I would prefer Bergens and MA's are compared to American luxury sedans since they're American helicopters). As much as I absolutely love Honda, they don't belong in this discussion until they produce a luxury sedan that costs more than an average person's annual salary.

The Lexus can be a T-Rex Helibug conversion kit since it's half-American/ half-Asian and more affordable than a Cadillac.

DEDO...

I will take Carey Shurley advice. The conversion kit works awesome but I can only speak for the HB Kit. Now I met Spark here on the Orlando Heli blowout he showed me the century conversion. I saw spark flying it and I can say it did perform very good, I pick it up and is lighter too. I hope this help and if you are going the Rex route you won't be disappointed. I'm waiting to see the new whiplash since it comes with the RC motor version and this is my motor of choice. I hope it comes out soon!!!

Good luck!!!

I have looked at both gas conversions for the TREX 600 and am thinking that I will go with the Hobby World conversion for the following reasons.

1, It comes with all the small parts.

2, They use A cnc machined Delron slant gear thats 12mm wide, Not an 8mm align gear.

3,Comes with larger clutch and bell

Peace Out BOBBY D.

Can I ask why not the 700? Do you already have a 600 to covnert.?
