Here is an interesting site for those of you interested in satellites information. It also gives satellite flares (sudden bright reflections of the sat) predictions. I used it a few years ago to predict a flare from a satellite that amazed my family. I told them to come outside and I would point to and predict a sudden bright spot in the afternoon daylight, then I counted down the seconds and viola, a bright flash.
Remember, the magnitude is brighter as the number goes negative.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Tracking satellites (like the ISS and Phobos-Grunt) on a nightly (and daily) basis is fascinating to me. The flares you mentioned are most likely Iridium Flares. If you know when and where to look, you can see quite a sight. I get my neighbors out in the yard with a beer in the summer and point them to a certain spot in the sky and...wow. There it is.

I'd like to figure out when and where to look up into the sky to see the spacestation passover. I've looked over this page but it's hard because you have to know where to look, you have to be in the right location to see that part of the sky and more. I'm not even 100% sure where the North Star is.
