I am finally going flybarless.
I have an 8FG Radio,and a Beast X.

I am going to order a R6203sb receiver.

Is there anything else I should get? I should be able to hook my throttle servo (nitro helicopter)to channel 3,and S-bus to the beast, right?
Is there something else I'm not thinking about?
TIA Fred

I don't know how the Beast X is set, but you can plug your throttle into ch3. You will have to go into the function menu on the 8FG and tell it what channel is what as you configue the Beast X.

Thanks for the response KC.
I think the only thing I am missing is a receiver and a day off when it's too crappy outside to do anything. I just don't want to get started into setting it up,and then find out I need some sort of encoder or other "device" that I'm not aware of.

No decoders needed for S.Bus when using in helis, all servos plug into assigned channels. Decoder is needed when using the junction boxes running multiple servos on multiple control surfaces such as giant scale planes, jets, ect..
