For the past 7 weeks I've been completely addicted to my brushless mcpx's. I'd rather play with those than my bigger helis. (700E,550E and 450 pro)I can fly the piss out of my BL Mcpx! %85 of the moves I can do on a bigger Heli I can do with the BL mcpx's

Watch at YouTube

Moving forward, my 550 went in 5 weeks ago never fixed it. 700 went in shortly after (mechanical) and just got her back together last week. For the first time in weeks I flew my 450 pro, and it felt like a 600! I then flew the 700E, and after all the mcpx stick time you'd think I would be that much better on a 90 Right? Wrong! I was the exact opposite. I feel like I've lost something, I'm thinking to much, and I can't get any flights to flow together. I don't think it's the fear of crashing and not being able to pick up the Heli and pop a link back on. But I'm not sure why this would happen? The mcpx's are much harder to fly and require tons more input and collective management. Either way, I'm even more discouraged now and just want to fly my mcpx's till this passes. but I'm not sure it will pass unless I put down the mcpx, and I don't have time for AA meetings =(

Has this "size change" in helis ever happened to any of you? How did it affect you? And what did you do to fix it?

I know how you feel! I know this one guy who let me maiden his brushless mcpx.He told me to go all out on it. So i did what you did. I was adicted to the brushless mcpx.I am wanting to upgrade mine. I got 3 flights on his mcpx and i was in love with that heli! So afterwords i flew my 450 and i was like wow were is the power. I got used to all the power of the brushless mcpx. I like the feel of the mcpx. My next buy will be the brushless conversion.

Nice flying. What is your setup? I love my BL mcpx. I also fly it more than any of my other helis. I also have contracted mcpx. Is there a cure?

I think there is a support group for your condition. They meet several times a week at a flying site near you!

I can relate. This was the reason I sold my smaller helis and stuck to a 600 or bigger. At one point, I would spend so much time with a 450 that I had trouble when I would go out and fly large electrics at the field.

I think thats the most I'v seen an MCPX get thrown around! Nice flight. Is that a stock MCPX in that heli? What TX settings do you have?
I was told the best cure is to buy another one and fly them both at the same time with the same TX. It's the only cure!

Good luck on fixing your addiction, I've never heard of a help group for MCPx addiction, maybe you want to start one up in your region.

Yes, we should form a group thearpy called MADD, Mcpx Anonymous Dangerous Dorks.
Sorry about the dorks, but thats all I could come up with, besides I do consider myself a dork, and dam well proud of it.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Now I want a brushless conversion. I flew mine yesterday and crashed it a few times and picked it back up and flew it again. Can't do that with many helis.

Fun little machine for sure.

I have a 1s with a 9 tooth, and it can not fly like that.
Is that a 2s setup?
