Went to my LHS and picked up the Whiplash E FBL.
(Thanks RCHobbies and more! http://www.rchobbiesandmore.com/def...x?src=RR&ad=CA1)
Was going to wait for the Nitro, but I needed something to do over winter break!

Got BLS451s from my Fury 55 for cyclic, BLS251 for tail, SGP Reactor X2 Regulator, TP RX pack, CC ICE2 120HV, and Mavrikk blades.

Can't wait to get it in the air!

Got it all together, minus ESC, which was DOA.

I'll take some better pictures tomorrow. It's a beast. Bigger then my T-Rex 700N for sure.

dchekas,

post up how you think the 750 feels on it compared to the vbar(if you remember how mine felt) after you get some flights in on it.

RCHOBBIES and MORE is a great shop with friendly staff who love the hobby. I recomenned anybody who visits the area to stop by and see. They also have a dedicated flying field and race track!

Looks like my new ESC is shipping out tomorrow.

I'm hoping to test fly the Whiplash next weekend.

I'm pretty excited, because another one of the guys I fly with bought a Whiplash after seeing me fly.

His is going to be set up with a BeastX. So I'll have gotten to fly the whiplash with V-Bar (Thanks Heath!), BeastX, and CGY750.

Very cool! Can't wait to see it! Gonna be traveling this weekend so I'm gonna miss the first flights. I look forward to seeing it the weekend following.

+1 on RCHobbies I absolutely love that store. Best part about having the flying field right outside is if you have a booboo you can go inside, buy the part, fix the bird and fly again.

FINALLY got to fly it today.

The problem WAS NOT the ESC.

Somehow, my batteries are charging fine through the main leads, but when you read across the connector with a volt meter, it's zero volts. Makes NO SENSE.

Borrowed a buddies ESC and packs. Worked perfect.

This machine is SMOOTH. But even as a 3D guy, I'm really starting to see why people like the 710s on this thing. It's a beast.

Using the CGY-750, I only dialed the D gain down to 40% on aileron and upped the elevator roll rate. Everything else is running awesome.

Very smooth helicopter. Don't know why people are so worried about the weight. The thing pulls and climbs awesome.

Thanks Miniature!

I felt the same way. I switched to 713's and think it feels much better.

If your running a lower HS, the 710's will undoubtedly give you the best feel.

Tired of waiting

I think you made a good choice going with the electric while waiting for nitro. I'm waiting for nitro and have 2 electrics, one with KDE and one with Scorpion 4525LE ? Running 710's at 1950 and 2050 and couldn't be happier.
Still can't wait to try the nitro with new OS105.
