Has anyone tried these blades yet? I use the G5pro on my 500 but was thinking about trying a pair of these. They are supposed to give the pilot a better visual looking at the disk from inverted to upwright. Cant find any video on them other than a 17 sec promo.

I have them on my fusion 50 (620mm wc fbl). Tbh I like the look of them stationary, but in flight I actually find it harder to see "the disk". Also I had to lower my pitch to 12.5deg (from 13deg) to prevent bogging. Auto performance is quite good but overall I liked the SAB 620's better...

I love the G5 pro's I have right now, I'm just looking at the newer version "VST" as to what effect they have on the old eyes LOL! Does the new finish really help out? got any video of them in action?

Just a different option for looks. Some people don't like the original look, some do. This way everyone can be happy.

You can feel a 1/2 degree pitch difference in flight?

I am currently flying the mainly white G5Pro FBL's on my machines and really like them. The only time I really cue off the disc at all is on a sunny day from the 10 to 2 o clock position of a huirricane when it is very visible. I am gonna order some of the new VST's because I do like the looks static but in the air I feel they may suffer visually. But as mentioned not a big deal for me being I dont cue off the disc much.

yup. the heli would bog down a bit with these so i lowered the pitch to compensate. This is what i noticed coming from my SAB's...

That's weird because I always found the SAB's to be the worst of the 620's. To each his own I guess Just one more reason to give them all a shot
