Currently I'm on a job in India that my company bid for 8 hours a day but in all reality I'm working at least 12 hrs., if not more, at their charged rate of $200/hr. plus expenses. I'm not seeing that. So who is really getting screwed here?
So if they give you the 200 they survive how? How much an hour do you cost the company? who is forcing you to work here? Dont say I have to , Nobody is making you work there, YOU choose to work in this job!
You cannot fix the healthcare costs as long as doctors get $200,000+ per year and nurses get $75,000 per year
The problem with health care is tort. Keep in mind half of the 200,000 a year is spent on insurance. The same applys for nurses and hospitals. Insurance cost are way out of line and cost us billions a year

Typical Liberal. It's called "overhead" Maybe you've heard of it. The have a mortgage to pay on their building(s), a HUGE check to write every month for your health insurance plan, utilities, your holidays, your sick time, etc. It's called a multiplier.
And bottom line is, if you feel you're getting screwed, you can always leave. Start your own business and see how hard it is.
I'll agree it doesn't feel fair and I'll agree with you about the widening gap between upper management and the worker bees. But these are the times we live in. It is this way because of the extreme availability of labor. It's the nature of the beast.
If unemployment was down where it was several years ago, things would be different.
You're lucky to have a job and they know it.
