Under many republic they created' '2 political system.
one cal A, the other call B

then we put them before the people, and tell them to choose one'

after they make there' pick, they start fighting
over A is better than B

why not one party?....... let that party govern until it term end
or the people vote them out

and install the other,

rather than boths govern at the same time and going into grid lock,

THIS MAKE MORE SENSE TO ME.

I was waiting on some honey but there aren't no Queen bee,

Too much agreement leads to intelectual inbreeding.

I would prefer a 3 party system.

Different situation now. In many states registered independent voters outnumber either party. Adding a new party forces the other two to reevaluate, redefine... maybe much more difficult to keep extreem positions, dominant control, or political bullying...

Third party leads to democrats winning. It's because most dems vote dem regardless of the issue or candidate, they will not vote for a person unless they have dem next to the name. Dems have been told to vote dem because they stand up for the little guy or ...fill in the blank. On the other hand less than half of republican voters are die hard republicans that vote republican no matter what. So with a third party the dems still get all of their votes and the independent will get half of the conservative vote maybe a few dems, and the republicans get the other half of the conservative vote. Dems still come out ahead.

Not sure how it is elsewhere, but i am told in Arizona folks who are currently registered as Independent came from both Republican and Democrat in approximately equal number, and are a relatively broad spectrum, no unifying ideology, just a group of folks looking for something other than what we have now.

Jgatorman is correct. You are not part of the solution. That makes you part of the problem.

But, if you don't vote, you have no effort in the game.

Thats what we are all about.

If you are not willing to participate, then you are not willing to be a responsible citizen.

Thus, poor citizenship.

That is, if you are a citizen.

No one created a two party system. Ever hear of the Whiggs? It just evolved to where two parties are dominant right now. There where and are many more parties. If a new party springs up and garners enough support it's candidates will win.
Check out the Tea Party!

AND as far as the government being deadlocked, that is when they can do less damage to our freedom, so it's not all bad.
We need to get out of the mindset that the government needs to do something even if it's wrong!

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

Escobar it is much better to be thought of as a fool then to open your mouth and prove those thoughts to be correct. Thank you sir we have all seen your true colors and there is no red white or blue to be found. Please do go back to your bible for you are absolutely not viable in any way shape or form in any political conversation at least not in my country.

well, to be fair, nobody's asked the million dollar questions:
To Escobar:
1.) Are you a legal citizen of this country???
2.) If so, are you a registered voter and do you, in fact, vote?

His answers will tell us everything we need to know.

1) There is no such thing as a perfect Democracy or a perfect government. Never has been or never will be.

2) Within the USA, whenever "We The People" also applies to illegal aliens, we are lost and no longer the USA. At that point, the tax eaters will out number and break the tax payers.

We are not ta far from that right now.

100% correct Dennis. I just find it humerous that escobar who freely admits he is an illegal alien that does not nor can not vote has so much to say. His talk is cheap and mostly incomprehendable and serves very little purpose. I am just curious what in the hell did he do in college here in the U.S. as I believe he has stated. I thought they tought critical reasoning.....hmmm
