Nitro HV set-up, what power switch are you running? For years I have been running Arizona regulators w/pin switches. I liked the default ON ability of the set-up, with the pin removed for flight. Now that I have stepped into the world of high voltage I am without a clue of switch ideas with both setups. First is A v-bar with Spektrum satellites, running a Lipo to HV servos and the other would be a Spektrum 7010 receiver / satellite set-up running a LiFe 6.6V system. I would like both to have a default ON type switch, without having to remove the canopy and unplugging the battery from the system. Anyone have any ideas they have found to work? I would like to use the major component as stated!

I have used the Fromeco Badger switch on the e-Aurora and LiFe rx pack.

I've used a plug across the positive wire on a couple of heli's and it works really well - 2+ yrs on my 700 without issue. No switch to worry about failing. Here is what it looked like on my 700

Power switch

Take a look at the Skookum SK-PB2. I think that would work for you.

I use a 30Amp single pole switch from Radio Shack on my Rave 90 ENV. Works great!

And I use a jumper on my Trex 700N, like the others above me.^^

I think this solves any problems you are having. I use one and its perfect. I use it on LIFE as well and fails on. Dual outputs to both RX and FBL unit if using one. Its setup for HV usage. What more do you need !!

++++1!!!! for the perfect regulators switches. You can even get the safe switch duo pro with the built in glo driver. All my nitros get that one.

Has anyone tryed one of theses?
Duralite PowerBox™ Power Switch

The PowerBox™ Power Switch or also called the safety switch is a mechanical switch capable of carrying 20amps. Ideal for today’s large aircraft applications. The units are individually hand made. Four double silver plated contacts mounted in a floating suspension are used to switch the positive conductor only, the negative is looped through without any contacts at all.
• Two ball latches hold the switch in the selected position even when subjected to sever vibration
