Hi All,

I'm on the hunt for a Schluter Heli-Baby still in good working condition. If anybody has one, or knows of someone that would like to sell it I would appreciate it.

It was my Dad's first Heli that dissapeared in a move and He has been looking for one for years to add to his now extensive fleet. It will make a great chrismas gift. Please email me at jwkindler@hotmail.com if you can help me out!

Thanks

If you can't find an original, Minicopter sells a reproduction that uses some of the original parts. They are available in both glow and electric versions. I have the electric and it is very much like my old HeliBaby

Do you have a link?

I am pretty novice with this stuff. Any help would be appreciated if you can guide me to the page. I know he wants the Gas powered one.

Thanks

All the parts are shown here:

http://www.shop.minicopter.de/shop_en/index1.asp?r=86

and the kits here

Contact or PM Gerd to get a quote for an original replica. I think they have their own collective head upgrade and all.

To be fair to both Mr. Schluter and Gerd, the minicopter version is BETTER than the original.

Gerd worked with Mr. Schluter in bringing out the improved version. It addresses all the shortcomings of the original model. The biggest of which was the belt drive to the tail.

Gerd's replica looks identical but is different in all the right places. Unless someone knows the heli, they will not know the difference.

If you plan on flying it, get Gerd's replica. You will not be sorry.

Takes a little bit to get used to the lag on throttle control on this large fixed-pitch heli.

"It is an exact reproduction."

If memory serves, one of the upgrades is a change from a flat belt to a cog-belt driven tail. I am sure this will make the tail drive much more efficient.
