For a trex600 fbl pro should I use ec3 or ec5 plugs?

Also I don't think my charger tarantula has a ec5 only ec5, is there a adapter I can use?

Thanks

I have EC-5's on all my 600 and 700 heli's, just easier.

EC5 for sure. I wouldn't feel comfortable with EC3's on anything larger than a 450.

Anything above 4S I'd go with the EC5's.

I would go EC5 for sure. I watched a kid pick up two batteries with PRC6 connectors on them and come very close to plugging them into each other before someone stopped him. I can't imagine that would have faired well for the child or the batteries.

Yes, the PRC6's aren't totally IP, but they definitely have their advantages. For instance, they will carry 67% more load because they are 6mm bullets(they are the largest bullets available with a sheath), and this means less resistance in the ESC wiring(resistance and hence voltage ripple is what kills all ESC's more than any other factors), they are shorter than EC5's therefore more compact, and they are easier to solder big wires into. There are more advantages to universal sheath's, the only disadvantage is you have to be more careful, but you can't plug the ESC to the batt backwards.

I know what would have happened, as soon as he touched the plugs they will spark hard and he will jump being startled. It will not ruin batts, only the bullets...ask me how I know. But you only do it once!
