costume skids??? did you mean custom? sounds like you need to ditch them and just put a taller set of LG's on it.

Logos are 8 1/2 inches from very top to very bottom. From center of boom to bottom is about 7 inches.

Contact Bergen R/C. Their Indudtrial Twin uses 130mm. tail blades, they may have a fin that will work for you.

If the tail fin is already longer than the tail blades . . . why bother ?

So you have longer tail blades ?

You can do a piece of wire like Band1086 did, or you can bolt on a bottom piece of a spare tail blade used as an extension, or just a piece of 1/8" plywood.

I got it out of my parts stock(building for 15 years). I don't know where to get them now, but I bet they are still available somewhere, the machined washers I mean. The wire can be made to any length or shape.
although the 800 makes my Normal 700 look like a 600 if that makes sense
Here's an F6 with 620's on it and a TR700 with 693's next to the 800 with 813's.

I just drilled two new holes in the tail fin already on my 700E to move it down a bit. It's cheap and easy.
EDIT: Did have to trim a bit with the Dremel to fit around the tail gear box.

THAT, is from an old Schluter heli. Superiors, Heli Stars, and Champions had it. Good luck finding that.

Don't you ever land backwards and stick that baby on the ground or you will do the cutest tail-plant tic, and maybe toc!!!

I think they might be easy to make. Take a thick aluminum tail blade shim, stick it in a vise, and use your dremel with 1/8" bit to grind a round key way for the wire to fit into.

Also, you can curve the wire up on the back as much as you want.
