Just started building this kit and was looking at the motor. I put the pinion gear on and tried to turn the shaft...It won't budge.

Is this normal? I can't imagine it being that tight?

Thanks,

Z

No that is not normal.

You should be able to turn it with your fingers.

Did you happen to install the pinion with a hammer?

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

I figured it out.....duh...I was holding on to the OUTRUNNER! It's good it didn't turn. I didn't think this would be an outrunner motor on a heli. The last time I did electric helis was with a Logo 10, 6-7 years ago and it was not a pleasant experience.

Thanks,

Z
