This may have been done before but I am not sure so I am sharing my twin tail mod that I did for my brushless setup and it hold solid. I had a few tail laying around that I had broke the boom so I used the plastic tail motor holder and made a 2mm boom and filed a flat spot on the rod to slide completely through the motor holder enough to add another one to the end. I have an aftermarket motor holder but stock would work. Cost nothing but used crash parts. I had the sr120 tail but the twin tail holds better.

Did you have to add weight to counter balance? How bad did it affect the battery life?

I didnt add weight but I am running 550mah batteries and getting 5 min of pretty hard flying (Hp05 motor). Im not 100% sure but it feels lighter then the sr120 tail. My boom length is 140mm.

red from one to blue from other and blue to red then I soldered them to the plug (red and blue to one side and blue and red to the other). the prop on the motor that is in the oposite direction(the new motor added) will have to be put on backwards so both props are throwing air the same direction. When I need to fix the tail I will make it a little nicer and I have some wire from the sr120 that I will probably use instead of the 2 wires per motor.

why use that instead of the 120 tail? i ask this bc i cant get the 120 tail to function correctly, this may be an option for a better tail for me.

Same reason. The 120 tail did not work well and I couldn't get it to where I wanted it. With the twin it behaves much better and holds like crazy. If you are having problems with the 120 tail switch over to the twin tail and you will be happy.

They mount in the stock battery holder but you need to cut the little nubs off of the inside of the holder to make it fit easier.
