Jeezus that was fast. I would guess a Scorpion 4535 in a TDR.

Notice the net? We're going to have to start doing that here in the USA.

Watched it again in higher Def.

Those guys are insane, the pilot is almost flying overhead while the guy with the radar gun hides behind the wood barrier.

It is fast for sure, but never to be compare with a true speed trap where the heli shows its real speed, not the residual out of a downwind dive.

No, that ^^^ happen before the Diabolo release.

I am pretty sure is Stefan Segerer's streamlined TDR. Wicked Fast! and it does sound beautiful as it goes by.

.

Again, take it with a grain of salt, IT is diving into a radar gun, not a sustained level 200 meter pass.

In Comparison, this is what a 200m (1/8mile) pass look like:

So, does the pilot need to use head mounted binoculars to actually see the heli when doing those speed test? That heli has got to be a little dot on the horizon!

Yeah we do, it makes the AMA lawyers feel better about themselves.

Don't be surprised if they (AMA) ask us to use them on the next Speed cup.

I know, I know...

Another fashion accessory for the heli pilot. I'm sure the canopy painters will have a lot fun with this.

The only thing the hard hat might help with is maybe, so you can have an open casket at your viewing.

These speed runs look like an adrenaline rush!
