Just found this on Heliproz.

http://www.heliproz.com/prodinfo.asp?number=01FRCT8FG

I think that this is a LiPo but it doesn't say exactly. Might be a LiIon.

Just wondering if anyone has this battery or if currently using a LiPo set up, is it worth the cash?

Thanks guys.

I have had really good luck with these Outrage 2500 packs and they already have the Futaba connector on them and also Ec3 for charging.

Gator1,
Those outrage packs do look nice, and cheaper too. Do they fit in the 8FG without modifications?

They fit perfect. I also tried the volts which fit as well but you need to change the connector that's why I use the outrage.and you can't beat the price......

For that price I'll have to try them out. Time to clean out under the couch cushions.

The Outrage pack fits perfectly, and costs about $14.
How well does it fit? Watch this video and see for yourself.

Nice video, nice battery!

I just ordered the Outrage pak -- needed to go to a different vendor since the one listed above was back ordered, but the same part number and same price.

The 2550MaH Pulse Rx pack is also a direct fit and a little cheaper than the NRG pack. In my opinion it fits better than the OE battery pack does.

The height of the Pulse pack seems a little too much at 19.5mm. Have you tried one of these in the 8FG?

EC3, Futaba and I believe a JST connector. The balance connector is JST-xh.
