Hi, I have a sunday heli on the way(TDR) and i'm looking for what is the best precision servo, i'm a sport flyer, i'm currently using the bls451 with good result however since this is a slow winter project i thought i might as well put the best servos into this bird. I'm planing on using 6V and i've been told 8V gives better centering which equal to precision and i'm still a little lost on that theory the electronic i'm planing on using are scorpion 4035-560 kv, vbar, Jive 80hv and the bls 251.

If money is no object, then Savox for a starter.

voltage has nothing to do with centering. voltage is supposed to relate to speed and torque, with more being better, but as don dahl reently posted, there are limits to what we can recognize as faster. so it's possible that you won't be able to tell the difference between a$50 servo and a $150 servo.

Here come the missiles.........

That doesn't make any sense. Savox are usually cheaper servos.
If money was really no object, then an unwise person will simply pay too much for a set of over-priced JR "HV" servos.

Futaba Brushless for me.

Look at a set of BLS252, BLS253, or BLS352 servos, or the Ultimate in servos, the BLS255HV.

The BLS451's, although not designated specifically as a heli servo, are definitely worth taking a look at. They're about $100/ each.

I used the BLS451's on my TDR, and they work great for this heli.

FEEDBACK POTENTIOMETER...(quality of )

...is one of the components that separate a good vs bad servo.

This dictates accuracy and reliability.

When it becomes dirty or faulty, servo starts to jitter and or behave erratic, especially under high vibrations. (or you have a cheap pot or even worst a cloned servo)

Anything the F3C flyers are using should be on your list of choices.

Hi

I am waiting for my TDR.... And my choice of 'money is no issue' servo was Bls255hv and Bls256hv.
