Limit is the most that the radio will let the servo move, so you don't over drive or bind, even if you have mixes or travel that could rotate it more. That is how I see it.

Not too much of a concern for helis. I generally leave the presets as they are, usually 100% travel, 135% limit.

Cyclic to throttle mix may very well over drive a throttle servo.

Good pitch and throttle curves and some mixes, that's all you need. I don't need no stink'in governor.
