So I finally took the plunge and decided to get into FPV. I've installed all of the oboard gear and bench tested it. Everything works and I'm ready for the next step. The final flight weight tops out at a hefty 2 lbs, 5.6 oz. Without the FPV or OSD gear the weight was 1 lb, 13.3 oz. Flight times have been reduced from 12-14 mins to about 8-9 mins. I've only hovered it around the parking lot line of sight. I've not flown it FPV yet. I suspect I'll have to relearn a few things when it comes to flying with the goggles on. Here is my setup:

Mega 16/15/3, 13t pinion, CC35, TP 2250Mah 11.1V lipo,
HS56 servos, GY240, Berg 5Ch 72Mhz DSP Reciever, & a lipo battery alarm.

Onboard FPV Gear: 1.3Ghz 300mw tx, 480 CCD, Eagletree OSD Pro/EloggerV4/GPS & 0.5Mah 11.1v lipo

Do you see any potential problems with the positioning of my gear? I know how important it is to keep interference to a minimum.

Sure do, here is the best video to date. I've had a few crashes and the helicopter has been reborn into one heck of a setup. I've got it flying in excess of 22 min using some special 325mm asymmetrical blades and 5400mAh 3S flight batteries. WOT is around 1200 grams in that configuration. My next step is to stretch the heli and use 350mm asymmetrical blades along with the V3 rotor head which uses a longer feathering shaft, extending the rotor disc even further. It'll be closer to a small 500 class, or what some people call a 480 class.

Also here is the video of the 22 min flight. This was only a line of sight test. Nothing excting. I've got a GoPro Hero2 on there now that I use for my FPV camera.

This is the HD footage.

This is my EagleTree OSD Pro video transmitter downlink. WARNING turn down your volume My video reciever was inside the apartment, that's why the link is crappy. I've gotten lazy and I'm tired of dragging everything outside each time I want to run a test.
