There are lots of other better batteries you know.

Why do you only have these 4 to choose from?

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

You know I would normally say that but if my Zippys last one cycle over 1/3 the time that a TP does, I have won.

Thunder Power are great batteries and have an industry best warranty but too expensive for me.

I think it is because you live too far north where it gets really cold.

How do you win? The Thunder Power batteries have a warranty and superb customer service. I'm not trying to be argumentative but I really think you win either way with TP even though they are more expensive....but so are the helis that they go in? I just can't see building a heli and then going cheap on batteries

Try Gens Ace or Zippy for a good price to value. Spyder is up there with Hyperion price wise. I'm not sure they are worth the extra $. Take care of your packs and they should last a long time. Always bring them to storage voltage when done flying. This is key to long pack life. A good balancing charger is another required tool to get the most out of a pack.

Voltz need to go away until they have a better product. They seem to puff if you look at them. If you get more than 15 cycles before they puff you will be doing well.

TP, well let's just say they are like buying a Ford Focus for $90K with a 50% replacement warranty if you total it. There's nothing wrong with them except the price IMO. If you don't take care of them, they won't last any longer than a Zippy. For the same money, I would rather buy 5 or 6 Gens Ace or Zippy packs instead of 2 TP packs. This way I don't have to bring a charger to the field if I don't want to.

I know about the warranty and I have personally experienced the great customer service but -
It is all cost per flight to me.

I'm don't care what brand batteries give me the highest number of flights for the cost.

I pretty sure I will be getting the lowest cost per flight with my Zippys because TP will cost 3 times more. I do not believe I will get 3 times the flights out of TP.

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter
