I'm thinking about converting 700n to fbl with an align 3GX and ADK conversion kit for the head.

Does the 3GX unit support 760 uS "narrow pulse" servos for throttle and cyclic or only for rudder?

I read through the manual just now, it appears that the 3GX supports narrow-pulse servos only on the rudder channel.

now that I know that, I need to figure out how I could use servos I already own.

Is anyone running the SGP Reactor X/X2 with the 3GX?

If I run my 9252 cyclic servos at 6.0v with the Reactor X, is there a way I can wire it to still run the BLS251 tail servo at 5.2v?

In case that doesn't make sense, here's another way of asking the same question. When used with Spektrum satellite receivers, can the 3GX be powered through the cyclic servo ports like a normal RX, or does it need to be powered through a dedicated battery port?

I believe you can power through the "normal" servo ports -- after all, if you were using an electric heli with an ESC having a built-in BEC, you'd HAVE to power it through the ESC/Throttle port because you'd have no other power source available in the heli.

Yes, you can run a ReactorX for power (I set on up that way for a buddy up at Heli Invasion).
9252 are slow and underpopulated for a 700 FBL.
You want something like Align DS610 or better.
FBL effectively doubles the load on your servos as you lose the mechanical advantage the flybar gave you in moving the main blades.
