Im nowhere near or even close to expert, but i think the main problem you've been having is that your flying a clone.. And some clones are poorly build, others fly great..

I hear everyone on here saying the bigger the better as far as a newbie learning to fly.. 500, 550 is what everyone reccomends, but im purchasing an align 450 airframe next week and adding the electronics to it..

Main thing is, dont buy anymore clones, if you've got the money then go with name brand align, i heard logo was pretty good as well..

Id say go scoop you up a 500 or 550 with a dx7 or 8 and you should be good to go, do as im going to though and have someone help you set up your controller with the right settings, im going to start heading out to the field and maybe find a mentor to plug in with to bail me out incase i get into trouble.. Then again i havnt had the flight sim time you have so you maybe 10 steps ahead of me as far as all that goes.. just my 2cents! Hope it helps

I'm not going to comment on the model but the size class. I'd go with the larger heli. They will be more stable and accurate. My first CP heli was a 450. Once I moved up to larger helis I was able to see how much the little 450 had a mind of its own. I still fly it for fun now and then but I spend all my time with my 600 and am building a 700 now too.

450-500-600

I say go with an Align 600e FLB head. GET a Helicommand Ridged.
Have a good set up person or the shop where you buy it set it up and go fly. I suggest you look at a Chaos 600e FLB Scorpion motor 4035-1100kv. Excellent machine and all parts are like the Align and some better, all for 50%less cost.

i vote for the 500 between the 2. however if you can go bigger, they are right it is more stable. you just have to be really careful as the bigger it is the more harm it could do!!! Safe flying..

What comes up must come down, your way or the hard way!

500 efl is for you! Much stable than other small helicopter. Though they have the same features yet my vote is for 500 efl. If you're flying is in average level you can switch to bigger one but it is dangerous so be careful.

waheed1998, please, for the love of god use some punctuation in your posts! This is an interesting thread but it's painful to read word after word after word with no periods, commas, question marks, you get the point.........you do get the point don't you?

I vote for the 500, the bigger the better, but once you go bigger then a 500 the cost goes up a lot, so a 500 is right for me.
My 2 cents.

P.S. sorry for the spelling or the grammar I am dyslexic!

That was the longest run-on sentence I have ever read.

Do the T500 it's a grt bird but will cost you more in crash cost's.
