Horizon Hoverstar! It used a standard airplane engine, had a belt driven main rotor and a wire drive for the tail! It was a total POS!.. it did get me in the air tho! My next choice was even worse! A piccolo pro!

JR ERGO 30 CCPM.

Bought in 2002, and I still own it.
It still looks great and flies perfect.

Concept 30DX, Airtronics Vanguard radio, Airtronics mechanical gyro. I remember the DX didn't come with bearings in the clutch...it had plastic bushings.

The original blue canopy Shuttle. I think it was 1985-86. I used a 4 channel radio and had a "y" connector between the throttle and pitch sevos. Those were the good ol days.

Mine was a beautiful Xcell Graphite 60SE. Bought it from a friend who needed to get rid of it, before he could buy a Fury90, wife's orders.
Prior to that, I had no plans to fly helis, damn her, now, not only is my money tied up in giant scale rc planes, now I'm nuts about heli's too. Still have it.

Let's go flying!!!
