I was thinking about powering all the electronics on my 600N with a Life 6.6V battery. Every thing is rated to at least 6V. Has anyone done this? I'm using Align 610's on cyclic and a 620 on the tail. GY520 gyro. Spektrum AR8000 Rx.

Yes, you can safely use it to power your entire system.

Almost all electronics are now rated for 6V or higher, just check yours to verify.

Great, I have a 5v step down for the tail. I want to shed the 2in1. Just need a switch glow or something simular. Thanks for the replies.

Yes, but to be safe, I use an Align step down just for the tail servos (9251) on my helis.
