Hello,

I have recently been eyeing the X5 FES combo with the Microbeast. How many of you out there are running the stock servos, and what do you think of them? Thanks in advance.

I think it really depends on your type of flying bud. If your not a banger, the stock servos including the tail servo are quite adequate. If you fly hard, I would upgrade em. I flew em for a while and they were abit slow for me but I beat on my X5. Especially the tail servo (502) it would blow out on me almost every flight if I pushed it too hard. I'm sort of a cheap ass so I installed Align 610's/650 and I have about 350 flights and 2 crashes on my X5 and its still a f-ing Beast!

i think the tail would be the only one in question, for what its worth i have to upgrade all of my align helis to the ds650's to get it to perform well. the x5 hasnt ever had any problem with the ds620 on it and its been rock solid. my guess is that it would be ample for pretty hard flying especially with a little precomp. keep us posted.
