DX7S question

Does this radio now have a seperate GYRO and GOVERNOR page that lets me set gains & rpms on each flt mode? No gyro=gear or aux2=gov nonsense, similar to a Futaba like menu? Also, is there a CUT function or do you still use your throttle trim switch to kill the engine?

I haven't used a DX7S yet but it's so similar to the DX8 I'm confident that the answer is -
Yes - separate gain and gov functions for each flight mode.
Yes - Throttle cut is a button on the top of the radio.

Be aware there is only one idle-up mode, it's a deal breaker for me with this radio. Worth spending the extra money on a DX8 get the TM1000 module that doesn't come with the DX7S, get a backlit screen and get two idle-up modes.

Thanks good answer

Have a DX7SE but can't upgrade to DSMX and considering Joe Nall and I use it at IRCHA too. Just want the seperate pages makes it more like my Futaba tx's. Mind is getting old. Yes the 8 without all the early glitches is a better choice but price dif is something to consider.

Yes you use Hold to bring it to an idle or as I do a slightly high idle(maybe 2%) for autos and the Cut to shut the engine off.The Cut works differently than it did on many other radios. It moves it to the set position regardless of where the stick is unlike simply reducing it by a percentage of the output.
