I have a Futaba 9CHP Heli radio that is new never flown was just sitting around. Transmitter comes with manual, 16K CAMPAC memory module, battery and module on channel 42. Can easily accept the TM-8 module to convert to 2.4Ghz or use as your Simulator transmitter on your computer. This is a super nice radio with loads of features and software for a great price. Very versatile high quality radio. $250.00 plus shipping.

Great radio and good price. Feels good in the hands and the gimbals are smooth. You can switch out the 72Mhz module and put in a 2.4Ghz Futaba module, or even a 2.4GHz Spektrum module! If I didn't already have a 9C, I would have bought it!

I have a 10C which started out as a 72Mhz radio, but now has a Futaba 2.4Ghz module. My older 9C has the Spektrum module with which I fly my Blade mCPX, J3 cub, etc. from E-flight and ParkZone which all use Spectrum technology.

Good luck with the sale.

Thanks GAMB, yes the gimbals are really smooth and the radio just feels great in your hands. So many different options on how you can configure the radio.

I have a 9ch super with the Spektrum Module, its nice, I love it. You can can move the antennae so it's wired internal for a clean finish! I believe they originally retailed for around $750, so that makes this a fabulous deal being unused and all!

Bump for a great radio!
If I did not have the same radio, I would have jumped on it. I was just cross examined by my wife upon discovery of another helicopter, which she did not know about! Just bought a Futaba 8FG (which my wife has not noticed yet!), otherwise I would not have minded another 9C. Good luck with the sale.
One lucky person is going to get a very good and versatile radio at an excellent price!

This radio can be repurposed with the Spektrum module to be used with all RTF Spectrum based models, such as from E-Flite (Blade series helis} and with all the ParkZone models (mostly airplanes), etc. As mentioned previously, the antenna lead sticks out the back which detracts from the aesthetics of the setup. If you don't plan on ever changing out the Spektrum module, you can re-route the antenna internally. This is a link to the procedure:

Some one buy this radio and give it a good home!

Anybody know where to get a Spektrum module for a 9C? (Are they out of production?)

Here is the Spektrum Site Link:
http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/...rodID=SPMMSFUT7

I am not sure if it has been discontinued, but here are a few sites that advertises it:

http://www.redrockethobbies.com/Spe...p/spmmsfut7.htm
http://www.espritmodel.com/spektrum...futaba-dm8.aspx
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...taba-Compatible

With a Spektrum DM8 Spektrum DSM2 Air Module you could convert the Futaba 9C to a DSM2 radio for about $100.00. For that price you get the module and an AR7000 receiver! The module alone sells for $50.00 but I can't seem to find any sites that just sell the module anymore.

So, the Futaba 9C ($250.00) and the Spektrum module (a little over $100.00), you get to fly all the DMS2 equipped RTF models, with a Futaba 9 channel transmitter for about $350.00.

Plus, at a later time, you could add the Futaba 2.4GHz module and have a FASST system as well.
