Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

While not a good idea, there is most likely nothing illegal, there are no innocent bystanders, and it looks like he is in a remote area. Still not a good idea, he sure would not be covered by the AMA if there was an accident.

I agree with every one.
Safe location.
AMA won't cover an accident.
Has to much time on his hands.

Although the military has been flying R/C gunships for years I found this funny that a R/C heli guy who enjoys guns combined the two hobbies.

I am glad I am over recruiting age because I'd bet every R/C Heli pilot would be found if there was a draft.

I do like the application for military use to keep our troops safe.

However I would hate to find out he is using this to shoot game animals.

People like this putting up videos of there cool settups give the public more ammo against us.

Our skies are open and free for now.

I doubt the FAA will find this any funnier than airplane flying around bridges and such. Just shows another way of making our toys into another form of a weapon. Does not matter if it is rotary or fixed wind.

I would not trust any toy/hobby RF link to be handling a live firearm. I don't care how good you are, a failed link at the time you fire the gun could point it at somebody before the person flying could react.
I don't care how many movies you have seen, you cannot jump out of the way of a bullet.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I agree that was not safe by any means and a major issue to all modelers, but it was released in 2008, lets hope they were under supervision of some gov dept. or they they got bored with the idea.

Meh, its not much worse than the average person I see at the range.

I give up on Loctite, nothing lasts long enough to vibrate loose anymore.

That’s awesome although no practical use other than to say I did it. Really surprised by how stable the heli was when firing.

I can't help but to think this is the solution to our hog problem here in Texas. Anyone know where to buy a dual AR-15 mount for a Predator 90?
