I am running 1950 with radix 710s right now. Sometimes I will hit idle2 at 2200 for a minute or two.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

2350 head speed

At 2350 headspeed it will turn into a rocket. And of course kill your flight times I would guess around 3 1/2 min flight times.

Boon,

No need to run that high of a head speed, it's actually a bit much IMHO.

2200 give or take is about right and with that, it's monsterous.

A few of us have been playing with lower head speeds (1850) and 710's and it makes flying really fun and extends your flight time.

Play around with it to see what setup works best for you but I'd stay away from that really high head speed and limit it to 2200 or so.

Whiplash Headspeed

I agree, with 710's thereis no need to go with extreme headspeeds. With 690's you could use up to 2200 but with 710's I'm thinking more like 1950 to 2050, and at that the performance is fantastic so smooth and responsive. I was a little worried about the weight 12.1 lbs and the cg, but after flying a little I am a Whiplash fan. Bring on the nitro and gasser.
