I did a search but didn't find a thread like this. If I missed it, just redirect me and I'll shut this down.

Anyway, please list your favorite Ipad apps including hobby related stuff, utilities, and anything else useful and/or cool.

A gazzillion available apps is great unless you don't know what you want or where to start:).

Sound Hound. For when you hear a song on the radio that you like, but you have no idea what it's called. Start the soundhound app, let it hear a 30 second sample, and the app will go online and retrieve info about the song from a database of millions.

Hands down, my favorite app. The radio stations here in Honolulu suck. Pandora is an online radio station where you type in an artist or genre that you like. Pandora will play songs it thinks you will like. You can give the songs a 'thumbs up' if you like them and it will play them more often. If you hear a song you dislike, give it the 'thumbs down' and you never have to hear that crap again.
Best part of all- the app is free.

Another fun time waster is FML- 'F' My Life- people post the troubles they encounter in their day to day lives. Some funny ones. Some pretty raw humor though. Keep your kids away from it.

Plane spot- type in the 'N' number and find out the make, model, engine, and registered owner of the plane.

Hey Tell- Its basically a two way voice message system. It's awesome for when your driving and it beats having to carry on a conversation. They even have the app for android...
