All my other helis are DSD so I went with push pull on my vision 90 just to try something different. Took more time to set up as there's more parts, but overall I'm pleased. Took very little mixing to get level swash travel throughout the collective pitch range. My only gripe is getting the elevator arm set screw tightened. Not a lot of room to work in between the frames. I read somewhere that the push pull gives better CG than DSD.

I would

Like to hear more on this. My Trex700 is push/pull so I've never had the DSD but I was thinking about using it when I get my Vision90.

Im using DSD and wouldnt use anything else. It honaslty to me feels more connected to my stick movements. Plus less stuff to setup, less parts, easy repair. Downside you need GOOD servos as DSD is really hard them. Push pull you can get away with less exspensive servos. But im DSD all the way baby!!!!!!!

DSD system

I personally prefer the DSD. I have played with both on the vision90's easy set up, easy to maintain, very locked in feeling.

Downside

If you crash better chance of tearing up servos

I will take my chances!!!

Thx CB

ds610 there metal gear no stripping. Fast, there competition level servos without the big price tage. I love mine wont run anything else. You can also google "ds610 combo" and get a combo of three for cheap.

Servos

I have a set of ds610's and the MKS high voltage servos. Both do the trick but of course you get what you pay for MKS much better...

Those are nice but are they really worth $200 each? My wallet says NO!

Can't knock the Align 610s. I have them on my Trex 550e, they work great. I strongly considered the Align 620s for my Vision 90, but got a good deal on the BLS 253s so I decided to splurge a little.

Up date

Went flying today on the 3rd flight my elevator servo decided to give out. My heli went into a nose dive,no responce what so ever. Blades, tourque tube, boom, one skid, main shaft, one boom support, and fuel tank. WHAT SERVOS? Align 610's. out of 6align servos I have ,4 have taken a dump. Bought this last set at the Cookville funfly only a few months old go figure!

I will try the savox servos next time they have a 1year no question warranty. Other than that I will stick to MKS,Jr,or futaba like I said you get what you pay for..buy once or you end up buying MORE.

Sorry to hear that

I think I'm going to go push/pull. I have looked into the pros and cons and push/pull outweighs DSD for me.
