I currently have an HK 450 pro with tt. Fit and finish is okay for the price. However, in 4 flights I have stripped the tail gear twice. No crashes, just landing in the grass. I have thought about picking up a Trex 450 sport, how do they fly in comparison to the pro? I have thought about getting the Trex pro, but I have had my fill of gears for a while.

I give up on Loctite, nothing lasts long enough to vibrate loose anymore.

They fly every bit a well as the Pro, only a slightly and I mean slightly less locked in feel to the tail with it being belt drive. Cyclic is steadier than the Pro if we are talking flybarred here and it is a tad more stable than the Pro. Servos are easier to work on aswell.

60% of the time, it works every time!

My teeth were clenched. My 10yr old was ding his first no training gear hovering with my sport. I think that kid mowed all the grass in a 5' area with the tail. I was realy surprised, other than alot of green on the blades, The heli was the same as before the flight.

If you upgrade from a clone TT to an Align belt you are going to find no differnce other than the Align flys so much better than a clone. Trust me. My clone is now 80% Align.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

get the rex replacement gears -- the HK ones are so brittle they strip at the drop of a peice of grass :0( The clone and pro IMHO (im noone lol) fly the same -- one crash with the HK and you will see the difference :0)

Markus

I reject your reality and substitute my own :0)
