I use priority for small stuff.
For large and expensive stuff, I want detailed tracking I use UPS or FEDX.
Sometimes it's the buyers choice.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I use Priority with insurance when I can. It is funny that this came up because I am currently in a bad situation where the shipper has sent me an item Parcel Post uninsured. It has not arrived yet. Shipped on the 15th of November. We are starting to get really nervous. He put delivery confirmation on the package at least. So we can see the last scan on the 17th of November. Before anybody says anything crazy, right now I trust the guy. And he assures me that he will make the situation right if the USPS fails us.

Small stuff goes USPS Priority. Big stuff usually UPS Ground, or USPS Priority depending on what rates are best.

I always do USPS priority with insurance regardless of size. For the few extra dollars it costs it is worth the peace of mind alone.

I always send USPS Priority included in the sale unless it's something big or heavy like an airframe then I let the buyer decide what he wants to pay for.

I'v used them all, No complaints about any of them. Signature request is kind of a pain, because some people have to take off work.

I ship a lot of heli parts here on RR. First class has to be under 1 lb. So, I usually ship through USPS with tracking # and Signature confirmation. That way I can follow the product to the buyer.

STAY AWAY from Parcel Post

I sent an item unknowingly by parcel post and it took a MONTH to arrive even though the delevery date on the receipt was a couple of days after shipping date.

I find First Class works fine and is cheaper for light packages. It always seems to be as fast as Priority Mail. All my larger packages I send UPS with the tracking.

I really like using the Pay Pal shipping lable function. It is so simple to print, pay, and ship.

I totally agree. Parcel Post has to be the absolute worst way to ship anything.

First class mail with confirmation in a padded envelope for anything under 13 oz. Flat rate priority or UPS for bigger stuff.

I am liking USPS's new tracking. I am a buyer. Newbie needs stuff. Better Stuff.
Personally I think any method with tracking is the best. The buyer and seller can keep track of the package.

Friends don't encourage friends to fly helis! It can cause part shortages.

I've used every one on your list. It all depends on what you're shipping and how soon the buy wants it. There is no universal answer.

I use USPS or UPS. USPS is bad about updating the status of the package through tracking. Recently I was looking at tracking for an item I was waiting on and it was delivered to me before they changed the status. So USPS is still the way to go IMO.
