I just picked up an AR9310, used, sans satellite. I have a couple of questions about what satellite I need. After doing a lot of reading I am more confused than a baby at a topless bar. =)

I am binding to a 9303 with dsm module. I understand all 9310s are dsx, but should bind okay. Do I need a dsx satellite? Does it have to be the carbon fuse one or will any dsx work?

I give up on Loctite, nothing lasts long enough to vibrate loose anymore.

The AR9310 is a DSMX receiver, you must use a DSMX satellite with it. A DSM2 satellite will not function with the AR9310.

The satellite does NOT need to be a carbon fiber version, it just needs to be a DSMX device.

To add to what Dave said,

Yes it needs a DSMX satalite, Yes it will bind to any DSM2 device in DSM2 mode.
