i just recently mailed 4 helicopters to australia. you want to take as much of it apart as poss. to make it smaller. the box can't be more the 79 inches total, meaning the girth plus length not over a total of 79 inches. so the distance around the box just say is 30 in. then the length can't be over 49 in. (this is from the post office which i found to be the cheapest) a heli like a xcell 60 or champion is around $80. i am about ready to mail a kalt barron 30 so expecting to be around $60
