This was originally built by John Foglesong. Its a Byron / Iron bay T-28 Trojan. Its absolutely scaled out and flies as beautifully as it looks [8D]. I am fortunate to have this plane now to fly.

Power is a BME 102 with standard pits mufflers. Landing gear is Robart.

The onboard video if from a GoPro HD 1080 camera .. neat little thing

I have around 10 flights on this plane and it flies great .. lands super soft and smooth ... ( except in this video [] , as i cut the power a bit too early while trying to land front center by a group of spectators ..

Sure would be nice if you quit jacking that beautiful bird around the sky like a sport model and fly it in a manner that she deserves.

"deserves" ?? lol, i did not know planes had feelings or preferences

I fly to have FUN and enjoy my hobby and free time. If i had more speed and power in the T-28, i would be flying it like my sport jet
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8VP4TjRlNI&hd=1

or even one of my scale jets ( which is being rebuilt, lol )

if i was competing at Top Gun, the nats, or what not, then i would worry about flying "scale" for an entire flight ...

if someone enjoys scale flying, then they should fly scale, if someone likes sport flying , fly sport ... don't like it ? turn the other way and don't look
