JLH_1 rrNovice Longview, TX - USA | Jack was in an accident late Thursday evening at a field in the Bryan/ College Station area. Two were involved in the accident. I do not know all of the details. But I do know that Jack took most of the damage from a logo 600 that crashed into them. He was in intensive care for a bit. He did come through all of the surgeries OK. He received injuries to face, head, and hands. I do not know the other gentleman in the accident but he has a cut on his arm with 17 stitches and some wounds on his leg and hip. Neither one of the two injured were flying their model at the time.I am sure more details will surface. That is all I know for now. If anybody has any more info please post.GET WELL SOON JACK!Jason Hunter

![]() rrProfessor Dumont, NJ | Being personally involved in two heli accidents (both to the faces), nothing hits home like this news. I desperately hope that I won't hear any more such news. But, no such luck. I hope for the best for both injured and the operator of that heli.www.JustinJee.com

CF1 rrApprentice Olympia, WA | I second what KingCobra Heli said. We all need to remember these machines are dangerous. It is good to take a step back and think about that for a minute before you fly.Best wishes to all involved.

I know that there is probably nothing or no one that could stop this man from flying. I remember when i was younger (maybe 20 years ago) he first started to fly rc planes and back then electric was not even a thought.. He recently got me into the hobby and sometimes i think he wishes that he didn't because i keep him busy with all the helis i buy and it takes away from his flying time. When i first started out my dad tried to get me to fly planes first because if you make a mistake with a plane there is plenty of time to recover. He tried to explain with a heli you make a mistake and you have milliseconds to respond or your in the ground. Well i started with helis anyway and i think you have to actually fly to understand that because i know for a fact that the pilot that hit my father is damn good. There is always things we could have done differently this is always the case after accident thats why its an accident, something happened we did not plan.Jack is doing well. Hes in a rehabilitation center getting the last little help he needs to be fully recovered and back on the flying field. I know this will not stop him from flying and no one should ever stop something they love and have that much passion about. We dont stop driving because we got in a car accident we learn from it move on.AS MY DAD WOULD SAY "I LOVES TO FLY" www.JustinJee.com
