well Brian! I know you want it, I can understand the bling and action it has. yes its very attractive , But I can see where it came from too and whats behind it, too me by the sound of it, its a stoleing design. Pat problem. and also Outrage, goblin mixed with sab using a different channel to market a heli. Its fishy!!! I dont like it. Its not right!

Whiskey! Huh! sounds like you have big balls, maybe you been sampling too much of what you make.

Conspiracy theories and endless rants. SAB has already answered that they are not made by Outrage. You won't listen to the company that owns the design and would know better than anyone else. So how much sense are you exhibiting?

SAB also has team pilots all over the world, and not ONE of them is flying this helicopter.

Wow, I can't believe the amount of speculation, I guess this is good for SAB as it creates more brand recognition, but don't you guys have anything else to do?

Just need to set the record straight here, my first prototype crashed due to a chafed wired on the tail servo, the prototype model had a very sharp boom edge and I didn't take the time to sand it down or protect it because I was in a hurry to start testing the machine, it was a complete oversight on my part. There was no mechanical failure, it was an issue with the flybarless control system going into failsafe due to extreme noise.

Anyone that has any experience flying helis will see that the helicopter continued on its last position until it hit the ground, nothing mechanical failed.

The only parts that got damaged were the landing gear, landing gear support, main shaft, tail hub, blades, blade grip pitch links, that's it! This proved this helicopter to be stronger than some people think.

As for SAB not handing out Goblins to everyone of their team members, this is simply, SAB is a small operation, they don't have the budget I don't think to hand out Goblins to everyone, only a select few have been fortunate enough to be part of the test program prior to release. The helicopter is 99% complete as far as I've been told, they're just running behind due to a last minute change to the way the gears are manufactured.

Notice that Bert didn't mention needing to replace that part when he crashed! Besides, crash a T-Rex700 with a carbon fiber boom and it will cost about the same when you include boom, boom supports and torque tube. Break the CF tail control rod too and you are about at the $100 mark.

We'll now soon enough if this heli is worth the hype.

This is the last time I'll say this, according to Stefano and Enrico from SAB, the Goblin is made in their own factory, they said that the parts are NOT made in the factory that makes Outrage in China.

Happy everyone?

Tony, you need to stop this, not sure what your deal is, but you're certainly taking it too far, let it go. If you don't like the model, or if you are a hater, go hate something else

Alright. We now have an official statenent from a legitimate Team SAB Goblin rep telling us that indeed the SAB Goblin is made in Italy at the SAB factory and not in Vietnam at the Outrage factory as many had suspected. This should end the speculation and rumors that Goblin is actually a shell company of Outrage. Thank you Bert for stepping forward, putting your reputation on the line, and sharing this information with us.

Justin, Bert only said that the Goblin is not made in the factory that makes Outrage in China. He did not say that the Goblin is made in Italy nor that it is not made in a factory in China other than the one that makes Outrage in China nor that it is not made in an Outrage factory in Vietnam

This is a typical example of word twisting by both company reps and customers alike. Gosh, how I love these online forums!

Oh, I guess I was just jumping to conclusions. I was assuming based upon Bert's statement that since SAB is an Italian company (and since you see in ads the Goblin placed next to a Lamborghini) that the SAB factory was located in Italy somewhere near where the Lamborghini factory. My bad.

I have no confirmation on where it is made, I am sure that as with every single manufacturer, there are parts coming from some factories, and other parts from some other factories, all models are manufactured like that, period.

No more reason to speculate, if you could only see the quality of this thing, which I have seen first hand, you would simply close this thread
