504Rone, don't worry. I can say that V1.2 made no change to my perfectly flying heli on V1.1. V1.2 just gave us more option/parameters to tweak.

Some may get confused with so many options. Something Mikado learned is when you give too many user settable options, people will get confused. Just look how V-Bar 5.2 simplified the governor settings. Knowledgeable users lost some flexibility, but most would set the parameters to the wrong values. So Mikado set them to general usable values that the user now has no control over.

I like that Futaba gives us the flexibility. It may be complex, but I can say that the CGY750 will give more performance than a V-Bar, if you are willing to tap into that capacity. But, you have to know what each parameter does to get there. Thankfully Dr. Ben is helping us all out.

I don't recall any reports about V1.1 not working with non Futaba servos. However, if you are using low frequency servos, maybe you should reconsider using cheap servos on your heli.

610 and 510 are 200Hz servos, You may want to try a value of 3 or 4.

On the JR servos, use at least 2.

Some of you have mentioned wobble at gains that were working with V1.1. If you would, please tell me where your I gains are set right now.

Aileron wobble

Ben Minor
I started with my Aileron I gain at 60 which I used in 1.1, I tried lowering it to 40 and it did not help. HeadResp 3 and Tx gain of 45 worked okay, it was 50 with 1.1.

It is in a Trex 550, grey dampers. Aileron has already been more troublesome than elevator, where I have a gain of 70.

"Hmmmmm.....
I gain is a component of total gain. The most dramatic thing I've ever seen a model do with excessive I gain is start to oscillate a little in the classic manner when total gain is too high. What was your model doing prior to the link letting go?
Ben Minor"

Ben, I turned my igain up to 70 on my 700N and the head went into a really bad oscillation and popped a link. Resulting in a crash.

OK, I'm sorry to hear that. What were your swash AFR's and total gains set to when you increased I gain to 70%? Were you increasing I gain incrementally or did you go from default % to 70%?

I have tried, so far unsuccessfully, to fly my Fury 55 on the new 1.20v update. I changed gains, Igains, Dgains, AFR, head response and such, without being able to stop the wobbles. I have flashed back to 1.10v so I can fly. I hope Futaba gets this figured out.

I've also gone back to V1.1 at the moment as it just seems better for me and more locked in in the hover with no drift
With out changing settings just went back to V1.1 and helis all fly fine again with out a fix I will just have to sit tight

As not a really really good flyer maybe I notice a dift more rather than stick bangers and hard 3D guys
