I wonder how much that thing will cost?
with the Speed HZ's and the YS120 bringing $500 give or take, wonder if OS will want $600 for this one

Going by the website, it looks like the -R version will be a little more then the 91HZ-R was, but less then the Speed 3D.

I hope OS has cut their teeth with the new regulator & carb on the .91 lineage and they are only making "minimal" changes to simply increase displacement.

OS has a tendency to make numerous versions of an engine to fix issues.

It would be nice to have this 105 be a winner right out of the gate!

I fly OS engines and my last purchase was 2 OS91 C-spec's, but OMI modded for big-bores and cline regulators. They perform wonderfully. Now that this technology has been rolled into later OS91's - the 105 should hopefully do well.

Time will tell!

I like OS motors, but I agree, their 91 series had a few teething issues before the HZ lineup that seemed pretty golden, although a bit less powerful than the YS SR or SR-DS. The HZ-R's seemed to raise the bar a bit, and I hear the speed/3d are beasts, but haven't tried them. Seems OS and YS each have their advantages and disadvantages. Hoping the 105 is as good as the HZ was, and has some room to grow in power as well. I like to port my motors and have some fun

like a sticker on a honda gives 50 more HP probably. Oh and that it costs probably $100 more than the non regulated one so they gotta tell the buyers somethign to justify the costs

The real answer is more like it probably makes more consistent power due to the regulator so they rate it a bit higher b/c most people would feel it a bit more powerful due to the consistency in the tune.

...just imagine the power if they include a K&N airfilter! I hear they are good for an additional 5-6hp!

K&N filters are good but, i never seen on used on a heil. Only on cars. They don't really fit in a heli.
