I have a BNF mCPx in the case with 4 batteries and extra blades. This is new with all documentation. I can include a bunch of NIP upgrades from Microheli, just in case a soldier is so inclined to build a cnc micro mCPx......

What do you think?

iPhly

I see you are at it again, Keith! You're a good man.

Bill...I have another iPhly coming and will let you know when to look for it. Actually since I'm paying for it, I might have it sent to me since I have an iPhone. I'd like to try it with my crawler. We will need to get a 6ch. TX module for it. Then Sgt. Lemon and anyone else there with an iPhone will be able to use it with RTF helis like the mCPx, MSR etc. This thing could great for the one-armed warriors like Lemon.

The Red Cross agreed to reimburse me for it since they lost the first one plus the distributor RC4WD, gave us a nice discount.

A while ago, at a great price, I picked up 2 T-Rex 600E Super Combos (Flybared). I'm using one, but never opened the second one.

.... I'll donate the unopened one if you don't think it would be too big for the guys. I have a battery for it too.

... Your thoughts?

OK, I'll send it out on the 26th or 27th (I'm very busy for this week ). I'm going to use UPS though.
I thought of giving it to one of my local clubs for a raffle next flying season, but this cause is better.

Happy Holidays folks.

We could use a couple more simulators if anyone has one to donate.
Just picked up some RealFlight stuff from 2 RR members. Should have the second sale this week so, I'll have it on the way ASAP.

I'm waiting for APO info of a group of US soldiers deployed to Afghanistan seeking a Simulator donation. However; If it's not legit and/or no APO info well, I'll send that sale along to WRNNMC as well.

Happy New Year -

US soldiers deployed to Afghanistan have already received a few donated Simulators so, I'll be packing up two RF Elite USB controllers and plenty of software. Think I have a G3.5, G4, G4.5 and G5 plus add-ons.

I'll PM the info

Wow what a fantastic idea. Thanks Henry and Bill for your time and support. These guys and girl are all heroes in my book. I'll get a package in the mail in the next day or two.
This is so cool. I wish I could thank each and every one of our brave solders. They should all be proud!

I will get a box of stuff together and send it this week or next. I know I have at least one copy of Realflight (an older version) with a the transmitter it comes with. I also have various 450 stuff and electronics. I'm sure I have some gyros that I won't use again. Flybar stuff OK?

I'm pleased to report that Bill's new session at Bethesda now includes 12 students. We are getting a great deal more acceptance from the "brass" which is freeing up more soldiers during the day. They now know we are serious and there for the duration.

Bill informs me that we are in need of copies of Real Flight. We (I) would prefer new copies. I understand there is a new version out but ver. 5 or 5.5 is fine.

We finally received an iPhly from RC4WD. This is a neat accessory for the iPhone...check out the link.

http://iphly.org

We need a Spectrum module for this item. if you have a spare one lying around, we could put it to good use by helping some of our one armed soldiers learn how to fly some of the small bind and fly RTFs we received. Here is a pic of what we are looking for.

Please let us know if you can help locate these items. I've been unlucky finding the module in stock anywhere. The TX module is all we need for now, not the RX.

Blade Mcpx

Just wanted to say, the donated Blade Mcpx is really something... the soldier I promised it to has returned from a 30day leave. Another soldier programmed it into the radio last week. Last week was the best session ever with 6 soldiers there and they tell me that more want to join. Two soldiers that I expected did not show up... I was caught a bit unprepared for that many. It turned out great...we have a lot to do. Two of the new guys are already have some flying experience at the school of hard knocks.

Finished the repair of one soldier's first crash. He flew it Saturday. I can tell you that he is pleased to be back in the air.

Thank-you everyone

Sorry for the delay, as I emailed and mentioned I have two RF controllers both with G5 (unregistered) as well as some add-on disks and Expansion 6, 7 and 8. I will drop them USPS tomorrow.

Glad the mCPX made an impression and think it's great that the leadership "brass" are recognizing this as a good initiative to help the healing!!!

I stand at attention before all of you.....
