HMMM I may be wrong but you may only get 2 min flights. Try it and let us know how it goes.

I do it on days I have packs for the 500 when any unforseen circumstances (read crash) prevents me from discharging them, I'll fly them for 1:30 in my 6S 600.

The thing is silly light, but CG is off.

The better thing to do would be to run them in parallel, effectively doubling the capacity.

I have been running 3600's but my buddy runs 2650 40-50c Turnigys and he gets about a 3 1/2 minute flight out of them.

I don't see why not. Watch the voltage remotely and land your heli quick when the alrm goes off. They should be alright.

You can use them in parallel config for 6s birds like 600e. You can also use them in series in 12s birds like 6hv.

Using them in parallel will require about 1600-1700kv motor while 800-850 is needed for 12s operation.

You should get 3min hard 3D and 4 min sport flying on the 2650 packs
should be nimble with less weight than the 3300

With such a light setup you can run a lower headspeed of around 2200 but remember to speed the tail up.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Yes it is designed for 12s and that is what I intend to do but I was/am going to use the packs from my 500 they are 45c 2650's.
it right at the smallest pack you can use according to Align specs

I am figure flight times should be around 3 to 3.5 mins, I get 4 min on my 500 at 2700 with ice 75 hard 3d

Cheers, MM

OK I have used both packs sets, the a-plus 45c 3200 will give me 5-6 mins @ 2250 gov (80% discharge rule), they have a ripple rate of 1.37 volts, gives them plenty of jam.

The turnigy nano-tech 2650 45c give me 3.2 mins @ 2250 gov and the ripple rate 1.53 again 80% discharge rule,
I have to move the packs far forward making the canopy hard to get on, even though it is a bit lighter it does not seem to have the same jam.

No I have not changed the tail gear ratio, using 95mm kit tail blades I only spent the time to set the tail the proper way, using rate mode and trimming and adjusting links and servo to stop drift I am using a six arm futaba wheel and the 3 hole out. I have gyro gain of 70 in 3gx software it flys real good and I fly allot of high speed backwards and backward loops

cheers, MM
