Hey guys I have a Raptor 30 that I would like to change over to FPV. This heli has just been hanging on my wall since I bought the Trex450se. What do I need to get this heli under FPV? I know I need a cam with TX/RX, a way to view and a OSD. What are some good brands or what models of electronics would you suggest also what OSD would be recommended for a nitro? I would like to be able to fly out .5-1 mile. I currently have a 6ch hitec optic 6 radio for this heli but could replace the RX with a futaba and use it with my Futaba T7C but Im thinking I could get a better distance with the hitec.

I was looking at this for a cam and tx/rx http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...PAL_520TVL.html

Thoughts?

Not sure of the quality of that system, Its cheap enough, maybe give it a try, If you want a good quality system, visit ReadyMade RC, He has everything you need and it works the way it should. He's a great gut to deal with and his prices are fair. Good Luck.

Awesome guys, thanks for the links. I have found everything I want on there but all of the OSD's are for electric. Are there any that have a fuel level sensor?

I have not seen that option, but you could always position the camera so it can see the tank!

I could just set an alarm its not a big deal, just wondered. Would you guys stay with the Hitec 6ch 72mhz tx or change to the Futaba 2.4ghz FASST 7C for this? I would like to upgrade to a 10ch in the future so I can run pan/tilt but that will come later.

I would not recommend any 2.4gHz control system for an FPV plane. Stick with 72mHz
