>Keep in mind that we are not the target, we are the collateral damage.<

Exactly - there are always (at least) 2 parties in any violation, the kook who committed it and the kook's victims. Both need to be represented in the process when a violation occurs.

I can't speak for anyone else...But I'm not content with being "collateral damage'...The government owes me better, because I pay for them.....

john, somehow i don't think you will be happy until the FAA builds you a flying site, gives you unrestricted access to all airspace, admits that they are run by corrupt, incompetent and otherwise unemployable except by government jobs persons, and gracefully apologizes for the government thinking that it was ever fair to tax its citizens. I hear Somalia is a nice place to live - that is if your primary fear is of goverment instrusion.

I'm not sure anyone is happy about it, but that does not change the reality. Would it be better if they meant to destroy our hobby?

Got it in one!!...Somalia is a bit too warm most of the year, though...

I certainly am not being ridiculous....Please explain why we need to be regulated farther given our very clean track record...While you are at it, explain why we are included in the TFR umbrella?...So many holes in the government rationale I am embarrassed to have to point them out....I've posted what I consider reasonable, and possibly proper given the current remote FPV flight possibilities....

If I am wrong, I will freely admit it...But I need a reasonable and logical explanation as to why my position is wrong...

While we are at it...I e-mailed Rich hanson at AMA askinkg how we are doing about getting out from under the TFR restrictions...Anyone care to bet when and how he will respond?

From what Rich has told me the FAA has been less than receptive about the idea of modifying TFRs. AOPA is trying to get them to loosen up about GA as well.
