Just finished setting up my night gear on my X50. I am running it of my Outrage 2S 5000mAh receiver battery.

My question is this. Is there a way to use my radio to turn the lights on or off? I have a R921 Rx, running all electronics at 5v. But I need to run the lights at the full 2S.

Also, between the green and blue paddles, which 1 is heavier?. I would like the blue 1's, match my theme better.

Thanks, for suggestions.

Sorry for the blurry pics. Still haven't figured out how to use my Nikon SLR.

Yes just use a brushed speed controller off a spare channel. You can even adjust the brightness with travel limits.

My X50

Thanks, I have a few more parts that need blasted.

The LHS didn't have X50 landing gear, so I used the R30 gear. I like it better anyway. It is wider and taller. I just made a small cut on the front 1 for canopy to clip on at bottom. Works great!

My X50- tail wag

I have a little tail wag every now and then. I have a GY701 w/ S9256. The gyro is mounted with just the foam. Should I mount it differently?
