What is this feature and what does it do?

The Futaba manual isn't really clear on the subject.

Yaw compensation links the t/r system to the governor system so the the governor correctly and instantaneously responds to the increased power demands from an anti-torque rudder input (right rudder for a CW head rotation model) is narrowed or vice versa. You tell the system what the sensor orientation is (UP means sensor emblem is mounted towards the underside of the rotorblades). CW refers to clockwise head rotation; CCW means counterclockwise). Confirm correct operation of the system by climbing briskly and then entering a right piro (CW head). The headspeed should stay constant with the additional load.
