Throttle curves for idle 1 should be a flat line @ 80% and idle 2 @ 100% if your gearing is correct. You should tach it and fine tune. The pitch I used was 4-/+12 in normal and -12/+12 in idle up.

for idle ups you should make nice v-curved throttle curves but rely on your governor to hold the rpm you desire. You cannot make throttle "curve" that will fly both 3D and scale without a governor unless you do not mind over revving your head. Plus, a governor will give you better flight time since it is not supplying your head with power you dont need while hovering or doing slow forward flight.
