I live on a hill and have a stone drive way so it sucks for helis. I fly my 450s all the time and just test my bigger helis when I can't wait to get to the flying field. Well I put in a cement Heli pad and tryed it out this morning. Sent some pictures.
Thanks 870Heli

Great. Looks like a nice area to fly in.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

You installed a concrete pad. Cement is a powder; probably wouldn't work too well as a landing pad.

You even used an edger and retraced the broom finish. Looks good!

Awesome!

One mile of road will take you one mile. One mile of runway will take you anywhere in the world.

After installing the "H" it would be cool to get some Solar Lights around the pad. There only couple bucks each at Home Depot. One in each corner will probably do just fine.

You'll be like Elvis then

Forget the solar lights. Only look good to non-aviators.
Really screws with your night vision as it gets to dusk.(rods and cones stuff no ones interested in)

Plus, one more thing to hit on entry.
